Well after my last car purchase, I didn't expect to be making a trade so soon. But since I did, I'm glad I did this with Team Toyota. Why? Well, the most important thing for me is the access to maintenance and service. Being able to use door to door service for a nominal fee, that means everything to me. I'm disabled and also immunocompromised so I can't be in waiting rooms hanging round or taking ride shares. This is key for me. In a worst case scenario I could always drive there and rent a car until service was done. This is also very valuable to me, I need to have a car available for doc appointments and just to keep my sanity by going out for drives as I'm able to do so.
Second most important thing is to have a reliable vehicle and be able to get service in a timely manner. Without that support, the product is really meaningless. I have been a Team/Carousel customer for a very long time. I've never had an issue with their service department, they have always been straight with me. My last visit is what prompted me to consider abandoning my newly acquired vehicle for a Toyota. They are about 2.5 miles each way from home.
When I needed to rent a car, Karen in the rental area was helping me out and she was a very nice person to do business with and was very accommodating to be sure the rental would work for me while my vehicle was in for service.
I decided to ask about a Tacoma, and got the ability to work with Maria. She's truly amazing. She took the time out of her day to show me what I wanted to see, helped me understand features and whatnot, but also put together a package that I could accept and move forward with. She got everything prepared as she promised to do, had everything ready to go, and was able to make my time at the dealership quick and easy. In and out. Such a blessing! She also briefed Corey in finance about my desire to move through things quickly, and that happened too. Have had the pleasure of dealing with Corey in the past, a really nice guy!
Anyway, Maria helped to bring things full circle! She offers her assistance after the sale if needed, and she is honest with the transaction - she presented full transparency with pricing and didn't waste my time with back and forth nonsense.
I will recommend Team, yes. And for a sales person/customer rep, I'd definitely recommend Maria. Ask for her, she's going to help you and take the time to listen to your needs and what you are looking to accomplish. I know, she did this for me!
